The client
Better Days Festival is a magical one-day festival located on the edge of Leeds city center. The event transforms the Beaver Works Complex with a fully immersive experience including festival-scale decor and production alongside funfair rides, food vendors, outdoor stages & indoor after-parties. Driven by Digital were chosen as their digital marketing partner for launching the festival online.
The task
The main objectives of the campaign were to raise awareness and increase ticket sales for the festival and in turn increase engagement on various social media platforms.
Driven by Digital conducted a thorough analysis of the client's existing digital presence, including their website, paid media advertising, organic social media channels and email marketing activity. Based on their findings, Driven by Digital developed a targeted digital marketing strategy for Better Days Festival, which included the following key components:
Running targeted paid social ads predominately on Meta and TikTok to potential festival-goers who had shown an interest in similar music festivals and events. The ads were customised to appeal to different segments of the target audience based on their demographics, interests, and behaviours.
Ultising the clients existing database to create a series of emails leading up to the festival, each highlighting different aspects of Better Days Festival including the lineup, music policies & event production.
Providing the client with additional strategy recommendations to complement paid social ads and email marketing, including tactics such as SMS marketing.
